You sell guns online?!?! Isn’t that illegal?

No, not if you follow all local, state, and federal laws pertaining to firearms transactions, which American Arms LLC does. 

Here’s what happens when you place an order for a firearm on AmericanArmamentCo.com:

  1. You tell us what gun store you’d like us to ship the firearm too (most people prefer whatever is closest). Any licensed gun store has the ability to conduct firearms transfers.
  2. We reach out to the gun store you’ve selected and obtain a copy of their Federal Firearms License (FFL), which is the permit required by all retailers of firearms in the United States. We verify that their FFL is in good standing with the BATFE (you can do the same thing using this free tool).
  3. Only after verifying their FFL do we ship the firearm to the gun store in question. After the gun arrives, you can go to the gun store where you’ll go through all of the required procedures for buying a firearm: a background check, filling out form 4473, and any additional paperwork that may be required in your state. Keep in mind that the purchase of all NFA firearms (short-barreled rifles and shotguns, machine guns, and silencers) requires additional vetting procedures including fingerprint, photographs, and additional paperwork.
